This variable, when set to yes indicates that when displaying multiple articles within a section, only display the first few hundred characters of each article, not the entire article itself. Each article, if long enough to trigger truncation, will end with a link to the entire article as specified by the $label_more value.

Any value other than yes indicates that entire articles will be displayed in the archive listing.
