This variable, when set to yes indicates that when displaying search results, only display the first few hundred characters of each article, not the entire article itself. Each article, if long enough to trigger truncation, will end with a link to the entire article as specified by the $label_more value.
Any value other than yes indicates that entire articles will be displayed in the archive listing.
